Front Desk Supervisor [South Africa]


 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all operations at the Hotel.
  • Respond to guest and tenant inquiries and resolve issues and complaints in a timely, friendly and efficient manner;
  • Monitor lobby traffic and adjust staff rosters accordingly;
  • Obtain all necessary information when taking room reservations.
  • Fully comprehend and be able to operate all relevant aspects of the Front Desk PMS Semper.
  • Perform all other duties as requested by Operations Manager.
  • Answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities and hours of operation in a timely manner.
  • Attend all hotel required meetings and training.
  • Be familiar with hospitality terminology and jargon.
  • Ensure logging and delivery of packages, mail and messages to guests.
  • Be able to perform and complete all tasks and duties on the shift checklist in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Placing orders for Housekeeping stock and FOH office supplies.
  • Follow all Payment policies of the Hotel.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience preferred;
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Manager.
  • Hotel experience mandatory.
  • Semper knowledge beneficial.
  • Do not apply if you do not meet the minimum requirements stated above.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: R9,000.00 - R10,000.00 per month

Education:

  • Diploma (Required)

Experience:

  • Hotel Management: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Drivers Licence (Required)
